speaker and trainer, Michael Lee helps corporations

cultures. He is a former marketing director for the
State of California, a former professor of marketing
at universities, and was a producer for the ABC Television
Network.

Joyce Scardina Becker is a celebrated
events expert with over 25 years of Event Management
experience, strengthened with professional credentials
as a Certified Wedding Consultant (CWC) and Certified
Meeting Professional (CMP). A cross between an interior
designer, floral designer and event designer, she has
planned and produced hundreds of dazzling weddings and
special events that have literally left guests awestruck.
Ms. Scardina Becker has held several distinct
positions in her career including serving as the prestigious
“Northern California Expert” for TheKnot.com
website and Contributing Editor for The
Knot Weddings Northern California magazine; working
with ABC Producer Maggie Baxter, in creating several
“ABC7 Wedding Guide” television programs;
dispensing expert advice in the abc7news.com wedding
web page; serving as Wedding Expert for the Leading
Caterers of America website; being an active member
of the International Special Events Society since 1993;
and serving on the Board of Directors for its Northern
California Chapter, as Vice President of Education for
six years.
In 1997, she developed the first Wedding
Consultant Certificate Program ever offered at a university,
now at California State University Hayward. With her
